JKe invests heavily in the development of effective screening equipment. Our screening plant uses technology which is traditionally employed in the quarrying sector and we have applied this to waste streams found in water, and the waste water and industrial sectors.
JKe's plant uses a combination of vibrating inter-changeable screens with cyclone technology producing the following separated phases:
- Rag / Plastic / Debris up to 25%
- Washed Grit and sand up to 25%
- Screen bio solid liquid with particle sizes no greater than 0.75 microns, up to 50%
Left unscreened the waste would otherwise go to landfill, which incurs additional costs. However, by separating the waste we can significantly reduce its original volume which reduces costs and delivers a more environmentally sustainable outcome.
